Christmases past Salon

 

The General Store Le Brun museum is proud to present its new exhibition hall where five monumental models from Clement Plante are now on display.

They each represent a different christmas scene :

 
The midnight mass in the countryside
-  The very first christmas tree in Canada
-  The Nativity scene
-  Skaters
-  The first living Nativity in 1223 ad
 

This new collection is presented in a winter terrace setting allowing visitors to enjoy each  model in a big city like environment with each scene coming out of imaginary walls.

 

Louis XV Salon

The Jean Sicard de Carufel hall recollect the foundation of Maskinongé en 1705. You will appreciate it's style of the Louis XV's period.

You will be immerse in the atmosphere in the period where you can see portraits of the royal family, tapestries, lustres, trinkets, pieces of well furnished.
